Breathing technique to help promote stillness
My favourite way to find stillness is to watch the pauses between my inhale and my exhale. Once I have a soft, steady inhale and exhale I let my breath flow in and out of my body. Then I can focus my mind on what happens in the still point after my inhale and after my exhale. Sometimes these pauses are tiny and barely noticeable. Sometimes they are longer and I find steadiness in those silent moments. I hope you can join me in class soon to explore this breathing technique.
